Not investment advice
Nothing on Historacle — including projections, cones, regime probabilities, matched historical analogs, equity outlooks, or any other output — constitutes investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, or a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or financial instrument. Historacle is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary.
What the projections are — and are not
Historical analog forecasting and Bayesian regime-switching models are respected analytical techniques. They describe how markets have behaved under broadly similar past conditions and what historical relationships imply. They are not predictions of the future. Outcomes are presented as ranges precisely because the future is uncertain and may diverge sharply from any historical precedent.
- Past performance and historical patterns do not guarantee future results.
- Matched episodes are approximations selected by an algorithm; they may omit material context.
- Underlying data carries revisions, lags, gaps, and occasional errors.
- Models embed assumptions that can fail, especially in unprecedented conditions.
